Velkyr
Evening workshop room

Three formats.
One sustained inquiry.

Each of Velkyr's programmes approaches the money story from a different angle — some people start with the workshop, some with the notebook, some with the monthly evenings. All three are available independently.

How the programmes work

Each Velkyr programme is built around the same core principle: that reading and writing — done with structure and in good company — is a way to surface what you already know, but have not yet put into words. Applied to the subject of money in a life, this produces something more useful than information: it produces understanding.

The workshop format uses a developed six-week structure. The notebook format provides the same structure in a portable, self-paced form. The monthly evenings create a recurring rhythm of reading and writing, suitable for those who want an ongoing practice rather than a single course.

Across all three: the tone is editorial and measured. There is no pressure. Nothing is shared that a participant does not wish to share. No personal financial details are discussed. The work is entirely in the domain of personal writing — which is to say, it is in your hands from start to finish.

Six-Week Workshop room

Writing Your Money Story

Six-Week Evening Workshop · SGD 460

A six-week evening workshop on the practice of writing one's own money story in plain English — the household one grew up in, the inherited assumptions, the patterns that have shaped adult life, the questions one carries into mid-life. Sessions combine short reading, structured writing exercises, and small-group sharing in a calm room. Educational and reflective; this is a writing practice, not therapy or counselling, and no personal numbers are discussed.
